Am I Dealing Productively with Stress?
You probably don’t need a survey to answer this question. You already
know. We all need some level of stress to move us toward a better life.
However, between worrying about paying bills, enjoying a social life,
problems with work, concerns about family members and difficult people
in your life, there is much to be stressed about. If you are doing this
survey as a call for help, we hear and we help professional service
providers and those they refer. Since high levels of stress drain the
energy and joy out of us, we need to identify what is triggering our
stress, and to take professionally guided steps to reduce stress before
stress reduces us. The problem is, in the midst of the problem, what we
may see as ‘the problem’ is rarely THE problem.
Everyone’s
capacity to deal with stress is different. But one thing is sure:
Those who aspire to, or once aspired to make maximum impact in both
their workplace and outside work, will be debilitated by too much
stress. The results of this survey will highlight the extent to which
you are coping with YOUR stress. Stressed people usually do not read
much ‘self-help’ so we won’t be sending you heaps of ‘ToDo’ stuff.
Rather, you can peruse our Member’s Impact Tools section under
Resources.
Some people seem to know us even better than we know
ourselves! This survey can be completed independently by someone who
knows you well ie a trusted colleague, a partner or a teenager. Just
ask and we will provide paid members with a Survey PassCode for this
purpose. However, only your results will be on your Dashboard. Should
you be discussing issues with a Maximum Impact Coach, they will be able
to access the results submitted by the other person[s] you nominate.
The
results have two parts: A] is a visual which groups together your
responses by category; and B] provides you a cluster of responses to
work on – the ones you ‘Almost Always’ or ‘Frequently’ do.
A Maximum Impact professional coach is available to guide you
through the smoke and mirrors to a place where you can reframe who you
are, your values, your life purpose and your priorities so that you
live and work with more energy, peace and joy, and retain more
financial resources at your fingertips.

Is my Communication a ‘Door-Closer’?
Most of us say things we later regret. Our beliefs and emotions often determine how we actually respond. Guilt
and fear can make for powerful door-closers. The following examples
will not always close the door to effective communication in work
settings, and some are more acceptable in different contexts. Most of
us put ‘spin’ on the way we say things to get others to do things.
Colleagues and families will also interpret our comments in unintended
ways, due to their temperament and the way they have
been socialized and hurt. They may perceive the communication ‘door’
closed in their face. Work-life is most effective and enjoyable when
the lines of communication are kept open.
Your
profiling survey results will group together your responses by
frequency eg you ‘Almost Always’ do these… You ‘Rarely’ do these… etc,
and this provides you a cluster of responses to work on.

My Manipulation Cluster
Manipulation is a set of behaviours we may
engage in to get people to act in ways which they might not have freely
chosen. You may have been referred to as a ‘con artist’ or you may
simply have the knack of making others feel guilty or responsible for
actions or thoughts which are really yours.
Manipulators often present
reality in a way they want others to see it rather than the way it
actually is. In essence manipulation is used, often unknowingly or
subtly to maintain control and power over others, even prompting others
to believe they retain the power and control.
It may seem okay to
push to get your own way, but the downside is that you will hurt
people, people will find it difficult to trust you, and they may be
angry with you.
For yourself, you may have to deal with the guilt of
manipulating people, even your family, friends and work colleagues,
‘conning’ typically uses up enormous amounts of your energy, and you
are more likely to experience depression and emptiness as you live in
your fabricated world.
The thing is that people tend to get good at it
and can’t stop, then feel bad!
Completing this assessment will
help you to find out the extent to which you use manipulating
behaviours.
If you are doing this survey as a call for help, we hear
and are here to help. Knowing you are a manipulator and then worrying
about being a manipulator will almost certainly drains your energy and
joy.
Maximum Impact exists to identify what’s holding you back, and to assist you
to take professionally guided steps to live without manipulating
people.
These results present no overall core as it
is our belief that all manipulative behaviours need to be addressed.
Your responses are listed and they flag likely growth areas for you to work
on.
A Maximum Impact professional coach is available to guide you
through the smoke and mirrors to a place where you can reframe who you
are, your values, your life purpose and your priorities so that you
live and work with more energy, peace and joy, and retain more
financial resources at your fingertips.

Am I on Track with Reaching My Potential?
You probably don’t need a survey to answer this question. You already
know. We have those moments when we know we are just drifting...
watching the world and opportunity pass us by. However, between
worrying about paying bills, enjoying a social life, problems with
work, concerns about family members and difficult people in your life,
there is much to derail us from reaching our potential – even knowing
and believing what ‘reaching our potential’ looks like.
If you are
doing this survey as a call for help, we hear and are here to help
professional service providers and those they refer. Worrying about
not reaching your potential usually drains the energy and joy out of
us. MIP exists to identify what’s holding you back, and to assist you
to take professionally guided steps to live closer to your potential.
The problem is, in the midst of the problem, what we may see as ‘the
problem’ is rarely THE problem.
Abraham Maslow documented a
hierarchy of human needs. Our basic needs are biological drives such as
food and sleep then moves up to the second level, shelter, safety, and
security. The third need is love or belonging. Further along, the
fourth need is esteem from yourself and others. The top of the pyramid
is self-actualization. This means "the desire to become more and more
what one is, to become everything that one is capable of becoming."
Completing
this assessment will help you to find out how far along you are in your
hierarchy of needs. The results will let you know if you are likely to
be more or less self actualized and where on the hierarchy of needs you
may be currently focused.
Some people seem to know us even better
than we know ourselves! This survey can be completed independently by
someone who knows you well ie a trusted colleague, a partner or a
teenager. Just ask and we will provide paid members with a Survey
PassCode for this purpose. However, only your results will be on your

Am I Likely to be the Client from Hell?
Please do not take this too seriously. Some people simply aren't ready for a mutually beneficial coaching journey where the client potential is fostered.
We really try hard to help people to help themselves. Coaches have put this together for a bit of a laugh looking back on clients who were really not interested in investing in coaching, not taking responsibility for their life-ling effectiveness.
Thank God that these points are not usually mentioned at funerals!
Enjoy!
Am I Renewing my Energy Levels?
You may not need a survey to answer this question. Most people say they
feel exhausted at the end of a day, even those who have done very
little at home or at work, even those on holidays. Unless we can renew
our energy levels daily, we will be exhausted.
Knowing how to renew your energy, and having the right incentives in place to do so
is invaluable to life satisfaction and is a true combination of art and
science.
This assessment will indicate how effective you are in your striving to
renew energy levels. You will become aware of what changes might be
made to maintain energy levels. You may be surprised that it has much
more to do with your attitudes and beliefs about who you are, with your
values and your life purpose, and about communication styles, than with
taking pills and potions and trying to be athletic. Things like
carrying extra weight and forcing your vital organs to over-work will
typically deplete energy levels.
However, you may find that it is more about not wasting energy.
Our coaches can accelerate your progress.

result of a medical condition about which we are not qualified to offer

Map your Gap... Unlock your Potential
It's healthy to take stock now and then of how satisfied you are with different parts of your life.
When you face each day knowing you are falling short of your potential, your dreams tend to evaporate and leave you apathetic, even cynical.
Though your overall satisfaction will change from day to day, try to give an overall assessment of where you are at present.
The results provide an excellent starting point for prioritizing changes. They can later also be reference point for mapping and celebrating your progress.
This survey can be completed independently by someone to whom a member delegates, ie a colleague, a partner or a teenager. This other person does not need to be a paid-up MIP member. Just use the ‘Contact Us’ page to request a Survey PassCode. However, only your results will be available on your Member Dashboard. Should you have a Maximum Impact Coach, they will be able to access the results submitted by the other person[s] you nominate from their secure Coaches Console.
The results have two parts: Firstly, there is a general ranking score; secondly, the visual displays the gap for each life domain. Both the visual and your responses to the listed questions provides you a cluster of responses to systematically work on to narrow the gap.

Am I ready to Benefit from Coaching?
Find out whether you are someone who is likely to significantly benefit from coaching.
This 50 question assessment based on psychological principles of being coachable, will let you know whether you are really 'coachable' at present. This is not your generic coachability quiz designed to get you spending your hard-earned money.
Instead it contains 50 questions that allow you to look deeper into your temperament and personality to find out how well you are likely to do in coaching.
Working with a professional coach requires a significant investment of time, energy, and effort. This assessment will help you to decide whether it is a good idea to invest all of that effort at this point in time to get you further along the way to reaching your potential.
This is the first hurdle to jump if you are thinking about working with an MIP professional coach. This assessment is focused on the present and will give you an idea of your coachability right now.
Do I Delegate Effectively?
Delegation is an invaluable skill. We can’t possibly get everything done ourselves. Effective delegating at work or at home is a true combination of art and science.
This assessment will indicate how effective your delegation skills are. You will learn whether you have the unique abilities to improve performance and empower employees, peers and emerging young adults in your family, in a way that energizes them and is naturally rewarding for them. The scoring will also tell you some growth areas you might wish to work on. Our Maximum Impact coaches can accelerate your progress.
Work and life outside of work is most effective and enjoyable when tasks are shared. The results have three parts: A is a general ranking score; B is a visual which groups together your responses by category; and C provides you a cluster of responses to work on – the ones you ‘Never’ or ‘Rarely’ do.
This survey can be completed independently by someone to whom a member delegates, ie a colleague, a partner or a teenager. This other person does not need to be a paid-up MIP member. Return on Organisational Coaching Investment
Calculating Return on Corporate Investment [ROI] is common and reliable where profit is the bottom line. ROI protocols also have application to the larger non-profits which handle block funding from government to deliver services. Business models are of course well well-established in professional private practice, and increasingly in the public and not-for-profit provision of Professional service delivery.
However, the demand to perform well for semi-governmental and not-for-profit organizations, say in education systems, hospitals and nursing homes, the larger churches and community organisations is largely a function of accountability to their supporting constituency. The reality is that when the leadership of these groups becomes ineffective, disgruntled families and supporters and clients vote with their feet, often placing the organization on a downward spiral.
Those working or volunteering in these settings know that all is not well, but often lack either the capacity or the seniority to effect needed change. So the table below lists both structural and relational issues common to not-for-profit organizations where leaders get ‘stuck’. Rather than attempt a complex and somewhat expensive dollar calculation, consider the extent to which each of the issues below are major or minor for your organization, or you personally. There is the assumption that each of the twenty statements contribute to attaining best practice, though some of them will be reverse scored.

Am I Intrepreneurial?
It is not a typo... Being intrepreneurial has many of the risk-taking and innovative attributes of being entrepreneurial, but the efforts go toward leading and building the organisation or institution, rather than one's personal endowment.
Providing professional services to those who
‘need’ or ‘want’ them typically has its own intrinsic reward. You may
be aware that in countries which could not pay their doctors, nurses
and teachers for months on end, they continued to ‘work’ to the extent
that they were able to adopt an entrepreneurial approach. In
western countries, most of us know another reality: that professional
service providers who specialize, are also attracted by the greater
monetary reward. Providing higher value services is typically
accompanied by higher remuneration, since your clients want value and
positive outcomes.
Those who make maximum impact in both their
workplace and outside work, generally see themselves and their
circumstances differently to those who are mediocre. The key is often
an intrepreneurial approach. The results of this survey will highlight
the extent to which you have an intrepreneurial approach. Together with
the results of other surveys, you might wish to consider how the
frustration with bureaucracy and colleagues can be lessened for those
who ARE intrepreneurial. Find out if you seem to be wired as a born
intrepreneur.
There are signs of both entrepreneurship and interpreneurship that can begin
early in life and develop up until the present. If you possess many of
these traits and do not pursue some form of innovative venture or
effective approach, you may feel incomplete, dissatisfied, and even
frustrated.
The results have three parts: Firstly, there is a general
ranking score; Then a visual is provided which groups together your responses by
category; and finally, there a cluster of responses provided for you to consider working on.
A
Maximum Impact professional coach is available to guide you through the
smoke and mirrors to a place where you will maximally remunerated for
your services and have more energy, peace and joy.

Am I Living My Life Purpose
Lovers of sailing know only too well that
“It's the set of the sail, not the direction of the breeze that
determines where you go in life.”
Those who remain passionate about engaging in rewarding work, about
living life to the full, and about leaving some legacy, have typically
gained clarity on what they believe their life purpose to be. And they
know they sometimes have to sail against the wind...
Others have passion and purpose for a season eg a pastime suited to
youthfulness, getting financial goals met to get a home or kids through
school, or getting through university etc.
Others who are swept along with the crowd’s values, beliefs and
purposes, rarely have tangible goals, and rarely reach their potential.
Others live, work, work, work, work, wonder why, and die. Those who
make a difference in both their workplace and outside work, generally
see themselves and their circumstances differently to those who are
mediocre.
Thus said, being ‘purposeful’ in whatever you do is probably more
important than stressing over a clear-cut life purpose. This survey is
not meant to actually identify YOUR life purpose, but to flag the
extent to which you are living it. We have Impact Tools to assist with
Discovering your Life Purpose.
So will you be remembered for the difference you made? The key is
knowing and accepting and living your life purpose with enthusiasm and
contentment, even if the going gets really tough. It is true of course
that many live well, right into retirement, without ever having really
considered their ‘life purpose.’
They just studied, worked, played, engaged in various relationships,
maybe raised a family and generally ‘rose to the occasion’ and ‘did
what needed to be done.’ Purpose most likely remained a guiding force,
and was just under their surface. Nevertheless, when at the crossroads
of life, people are challenged to clarify their purpose in life.
These results have three parts:
There is a general ranking score; then thers is a visual which groups together your responses by category; and finally there is a cluster of responses in green which might be worthy of further reflection.
This survey can also be completed independently by someone to whom a
member delegates, ie a colleague, a partner or a teenager. Just use the

However, only your results will be available on your Dashboard.

My Cherished Values
Values are the
foundational beliefs we have which anchor our lives when the going gets tough.
Values are the things that matter to us the most, the nonnegotiable characteristics that best describe who we are, what we stand for, and what we are prepared to really sacrifice for.
Values largely resist change, though there are times when we tend to CHERISH or hold values more closely... reminds us of the words of the Big Yellow Taxi song, 'We don't know what we've got 'til it's gone!'
It is curious how good people, often males, will say they value family or romance, but when one looks for the evidence in their diary or their bank transactions, a court would have a hard time convicting them.
